Braden as Matariel Arisen

I liked doing this pic. It's part of my overall attempt to make character profiles for my characters. Braden is well on his way to being finished now that I have the base layers for the flesh and the clothing. Following is a very light overview of this character.

This is my character Braden in his Matariel Arisen aspect. This is how he looks after he is returned from the dead by the necromancy of Ledorath Ixtharion.

He is wearing the armor of the Gotherim, the Angels of Rage, though modified to fit his form. The Angels of Rage are purely female creatures as a rule and so the necromancer took licence to alter the armor to be more suitable for a male figure. Though Braden in his Matariel aspect is an angel of the Light, having him dressed as a Gotherim was convenient for the necromancer while he brought Braden through the dark countries. As an Angel of Rage, Braden has the presence and strength associated with such supernatural creatures, without eliciting the hostility that would otherwise be due him as a holy creature while traveling among the dark elves.

I write fantasy as well and Braden features prominently in my work. Most every character I produce that isn't for a jam or a contest or something will probably be one from my writing.
